The over 180 pigs blocked at Albita custom post returned to the farm. The decision was taken after the National Agency for Food Safety of Moldova informed the neighbor country about the swine fever outbreak from Hancesti district.

The animals needed to be brought to an abattoir from Moldova, last week, but they were stopped because of the quarantine. Moreover, the veterinary authority from Romania haven't informed ANSA five days before exporting the animals in our country.
