Over 400 companies participate in two agricultural exhibitions in Moldova
The country’s largest exhibition of agricultural machinery and equipment MoldAgroTech started in the MoldExpo International Center in Chisinau on Tuesday. Together with it, a specialized exhibition-fair of agricultural goods, inventory, technologies and crafts “Farmer’2016” has opened within the agro-industrial week, Infotag reports.
According to organizers, the week includes also a contest “Farmer-leader 2016”, a fair “Golden Autumn” and a Festival of Honey. The events will be attended by more than 400 agricultural producers from 17 countries.
They will present greenhouses, irrigation systems, equipment for plant protection, for food and processing industry, as well as energy-saving technologies.
The program includes seminars, roundtables, contest “Novelty of the Year”, where 45 items of agricultural machinery and equipment will be presented, as well as phytosanitary products and fertilizers; also, a Day OF Youth “Agrogeneration” will be conducted, being dedicated to young specialists and students of agricultural universities and colleges.
Also, the Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture will launch investment programs “Facilitation of Access to Markets” and “Sustainable Management of Land Resources”, which are being implemented within the Moldova Agriculture Competitiveness Project (MAC-P).
