Over 400 farmers received, since February, subventions worth 37 million lei. According to Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), most requests came from Cahul, Dondușeni and Hâncești districts for deforestation and agricultural machine acquisition.

The state also supported the construction of greenhouses, zootechnics, development of pensions and eco plantations.

This year, AIPA has a budget of 900 million lei, while people can request subventions of maximum 3 million lei, while manufacturers to 4.5 million lei.

AIPA accepts requests to October 31, 2018.

Last year, 7 800 farmers submitted their requests, while around 7 000 of them received the money.

The offered subventions amounted to 520 million lei.
