Over 600 young soldiers made the military oath within a ceremony evolved in the garrisons from Cahul and Chisinau.

Eugen Sturza, the Minister of Defense was present at the event too. He congratulate the 234 soldiers who made the oath and asked them to be responsible in the profession they have chosen.

"You have ten months of training ahead, with Sergeants, NCOs, and officers who learned the weaponry not only from textbooks, but also tested them on international peacekeeping missions and peacekeeping missions. I'm sure you have convinced yourself of the performance, but also their desire to convey to you what is best when you are in this unit. They have familiarized you with the military life, have taught you to meet the challenges, and you, in turn, have shown abnegation, endeavor and discipline, "said Eugen Sturza, the Minister of Defense.

Also, today, other 373 officers of the 143 Military Camp, the Antiaeriene Missile Regiment and the Dacia Brigade from Cahul made the military oath in the presence of the National Army.

 After the military oath, the soldiers will benefit of four vacation days.

The military service takes 12 months.
