Over 690,000 people will receive higher pensions Monday after the Government approved the modification the pension indexation formula. Sum of indexation will almost twice higher than the old formula. 

Pensions are increased 10% since January 1 for low-income people which means now an increase of 15% this year.

Government also supports people who receive pensions or allowances of less than 2000 lei. They will receive Christmas allowance of 600 lei. This aid will benefit over 610 thousand people.
