In 2018, there will be repaired more road kilometers than in 2017. It is about 200 kilometers of road that will be renovated and other 350 kilometers that will be repaired. Totally, there will be spent four milliard lei, half of them are offered as a grand by the international financiers. The announcement was made by Octavian Calmic, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure.

The main roads that will be renovated in 2018 are: Ungheni - Chişinău, Hânceşti - Lăpuşna - Leuşeni, Bălţi - Sculeni and Comrat - Ciumai. Totally, there are 17 contracts. Three of them risk not to be realized, because the entrepreneurs don't respect the contractual commitment.

Anyway, Octavian Camic assured the delays will be recovered.

"We discussed with everybody and we managed to accelerate the implementation of these projects", said Octavian Calmic, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure.

People say that th Chisinau-Ungheni-Sculeni road should be repaired by emergency.

"The way to Calarasi is very bad. You are afraid to pass on it."

"The road is very bad. How do you think, it will be repaired? I think it will be. I think they will repair it on summer, it will be warmer then."

"We would lie to have a better road. Some portions were repaired, but we want everything to be repaired."
Also, in 2018, there will be repaired 10 bridges. Those list will be approved soon.
