Over a hundred of young women have tried their luck in winning the title "Miss Tourism Beauty 2018". Only 22 of them reached the finals. They impressed the jury within the competition where they had to shows off their talents.

The girls were filled with emotions:

"The news were unexpected. The decision was taken last moment. I am very scared, despite having been on the stage before."

"I feel very lucky. I wish to win. This was the most complicated stage of them all."

"Miss Tourism is much more special than Miss Moldova. They accentuate here on your wits and not beauty."

Some of the participants came with their parents.

"We came to support our daughter. She tried to participate, test the waters."

Judges claim that it was a difficult decision.

"All the girls had their own charm. Each of them have their own talents and features, making it hard to chose."

Organizers say that in the finals, the 22 girls will be tested. The winner representing Moldova in an international competition.

"The girls will have to attend various trainings, choreography lessons, visit orphanages and develop their civic spirit in participating and promoting beautiful things. Along all those, they will have to attend international expositions and promote touristic sights from Republic of Moldova" organizer Ion Curmei declared.

The big finale will take place on 30 March. The winner will gain the title "Miss Turism Beauty 2018" and 10 000 euro.
