Parents want to have more impact on school decision-making: - POLL
18 % of the Moldovan parents are unhappy with their opportunities they have to impact the decision-making process in schools. They are eager to know how the money from funds they collect is spent.
The students want to be consulted with when decisions regarding the development of schools are taken. These data come out from a poll carried out by a local think-tank Expert - Grup.
23 % are happy however with the decision-making.
42 % of teachers believe all the conditions are created to allow families to get involved in the decision-making process.
School masters say they hold reunions to inform the parents how they spend the funds, and complain they do not have enough money for projects suggested by parents.
Those 4,000 interviewees believe the school endowment and correctly feeding the students are priorities that need improvement.
