He's nailed. More than 550,000 retirees will receive, on holidays, a unique help of 600 lei. Parliament approved in final reading the initiative for granting compensations for the elderly, which monthly raises a pension of less than two thousand lei.

At the same time, families with a monthly income of less than 2,000 lei will receive financial aid for the cold period of the year. The amount will be 350 lei.

The initiative came from Moldovan Democratic Party Chairman Vlad Plahotniuc, who aims to come every year with such holiday helpers.
