Law project regarding heated tobacco product was endorsed in the first reading Friday. The new law includes size of the excise duty on new types of cigarette from 600 to 700 lei for 1000 pieces. 

Moreover, the law project also bans the use of these cigarettes at the closed and semi-closed public places, at the workplaces and public transports. 

Not only consumers but also the area administrators will risk sanctions if the law is breached. 

This law is to be voted in the second reading.
