Parliamentary Council for Integration has new structure. Who is the new President?
The Parliamentary Council for European Integration has a new structure. The modifications were approved by the permanent Bureau of the Parliament within today's session.
The President of the Council will be Andrian Candu and the deputy President- Valeriu Ghiletchi. The Council has 18 members, the presidents of the commissions and representatives of the parties, the leading of the Parliamentary Association Committee Republic of Moldova-EU and Republic of Moldova's delegation to the Parliamentary Committee of the European Council and the General Secretary of the Parliament.
The Council for European Integration targets to provide a communication, cooperation, consulting within the European Integration process.
This will monitor the implementation process of the Moldova - EU Association Agreement and ensures the implementation of the Legislative Program for the implementation of the transposition commitments under the Association Agreement.
The Parliamentary Council for European Integration was constituted in April, 2016. Till the present moment, the Council was leaded by Iurie Leanca, the former deputy President of the Parliament.
