PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS 2019: CEC started to print ballot papers

CEC started to print the ballot papers for the February 24 Parliamentary elections. At the "Universul" Publishing House from the Capital the uninominal constituency bulletins are printed, under the supervision of the members of the Central Electoral Commission and the accredited observers.
The ballot papers for the Parliamentary elections in the uninominal constituencies will have different lengths depending on the number of candidates per district.Thus, voters in district 4 of the city of Rascani, where there are only four candidates, will have the shortest ballot papers. The longest will be in the uninominal constituencies abroad, number 50 and 51, where 13 candidates are enrolled. At the "Universul" publishing house, more than one million bulletins will be printed out of the over 3.4 million needed for the February 24 vote. The rest are printed at the same time at two other state printers in the country.
"Since February 21st, the ballot papers will be distributed to all district electoral councils and to all polling stations. The four ballot papers that will be used on February 24 are distinguished by color", said Alina Russu, CEC President.
The ballot papers for uninominal constituencies are printed on opaque paper and have the purple color, and the price of each bulletin is 33 bani.
