PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS 2019: Gheorghe Petic, accused of rape, on the PAS-PPDA block list for the national constituency
Gheorghe Petic, arrested and accused of the rape of a woman in the town of Ungheni, wants to become a deputy. It was included on the PAS-PPDA block list for the national constituency. The announcement was made by a binomial maintainer on a social networking site.
The PPDA leader in Ungheni district was detained last year after a 31 years old woman complained that she had been raped in her own apartment. The alleged assailant was surprised by the surveillance cameras in the block. Moreover, on the man's clothes were found biological samples belonging to the woman. If found guilty, he risks five years of jail.
Gheorghe Petic was also involved in a sexual scandal. He was accused of harassment by several former students of the National Border Guard College, where the man was a teacher.
At the same time, blogger Eugen Luchianiuc wrote that the member of the "DA Platform" had no better attitude than his wife.
In 2011, Lilia Petic would have complained that she was beaten. Earlier, investigative journalists from the Zeppelin.md portal have presented a series of documents that show that Gheorghe Petic has connections with Russia's special services.
In 2009, Petic was sent to Moscow where he graduated from the FSB Academy, and when he returned to the country, he was employed as an instructor at the Border Guard College.
This position helped him to recruit agents for the FSB.
