Starting from today, the Republic of Moldova becomes for three days the world capital of wine tourism. Our offer in this field will be known and appreciated by over 200 participants from around 60 countries of the world at the World Congress of Wine Tourism, organized for the first time in Moldova under the aegis of UNWTO.
High-ranking guests and key personalities of the world's tourism industry have already arrived in Chisinau.
Familiarizing participants with our country's tourism offer will begin with a series of events organized on the eve of opening CGTV.
The destination today is from the "heavy artillery" category - the Milestii Mici winery - where guests will benefit from a visit and a wine tasting.
The Milestii Mici Patrimony can not indifferent to any of those who pass the threshold of the winery. The Gold Collection, deposited in underground tunnels with a length of 200 kilometers, was included in the 2005 Record of Records.
The over 1.5 million bottles with the most selective wines are kept at a depth of 80 meters.
Afterwards, the guests will participate in a welcome dinner, organized in the style of the Wine Vernissage at the National Museum of Archeology and History of Moldova, with the support of the National Vine and Wine Office.
