PAS-DA leaders attacked and insulted journalists even on World Press Freedom Day
Leaders of bloc ACUM attacked journalists even on the World Press Freedom Day - May 3.
Having listed on Press Enemy panel in front of Parliament, Andrei Nastase published a live streaming video to insult journalists from several media institutions and called them "manipulators".
Maia Sandu, leader of PAS, also published a Facebook post to accuse media institutions of spreading fake news. Her post attracted several fierce criticism while other internet users suggested her add TV8, Jurnal TV on the list.
On Friday, DA leader Andrei Nastase appeared on panel of "Enemy of press" installed in front of Parliament headquarter dedicated to the World Press Freedom Day.
Journalists who included Nastase in this list reasoned that this politician attacked journalists of Prime TV.
"On February 12, at a press conference organized by ACUM representatives, Andrei Nastase suddenly grabbed microphone of Prime TV. Moreover, Prime chief editor Ana Butnariuc was accused by ACUM members of asking questions "with guts" and "destroying" the conference."
