PAS-PPDA don't obey Venice Exhibition recommendations, which says that the legislation can't be changes one year before the election.

Within a dialogue, Fadei Nagacevschi, PSRM lawyer reminded Slusari that they need the Venice Commission's commitment if they want to change the legislation.

"Let's leave the Venice Commission. They will accept to return to the old election system", said Slusari.

The mixed election system was implemented in July 2017 and it was supported by 74 deputies out of 101. The February 24 parliamentary election took place according to the new voting system.

PUBLIKA.MD reminds that the change of the voting system was supported by 60% of the deputies.
