PAS supports Government's initiative to simplify school program and reduce number of objects
The young from PAS support Government's initiative to review the school program and reduce the number of classes. After Monica Babuc, the Minister of Education, Culture and Search made the announcement, many members of PAS supported it.
After being asked why didn't this initiative be implemented by the former Minister of Education, Maia Sandu, the young said she didn't manage to do it. Now, the PAS members support the authorities and they say that all the schools should follow the example of Science Academy Lyceum because this offers the pupils the possibility to chose the objects they want to study.
"We organized discussions with the experts in education and found out many benefits of this system", said Eugen Sinchevici, PAS member.
"The experiment had a success and it needed to be extinguished on a wide scale", said Dan Perciun, the President of young members of PAS.
Previously, Monica Babuc declared the project implemented at the Science Academy Lyceum will be a model for the educational system of the whole country.
"I visited the Lyceum, because between 2014 and 2015 this institution is individual on making the educational plan, that wasn't revised for more than ten years. In October, Vlad Plahotniuc, the leader of PDM said the actual program is too stressful for the students and their teachers. He urged the Ministry of Education to make a new studying plan that will facilitate the studying process.
