Passengers at Chisinau Airport are surprised by unexpected presents on Christmas day. 

Moldovans and foreigners are greeted with gifts from Santa Claus. 

"The Christmas tree at the airport is so beautiful. We wish you all the best for whole year". 

The airport is decorated with sparking lights and huge fir tree. 

The air traffic administration says thousands gifts were distributed on the first day of campaign. 

"We have been striving to create a holiday atmosphere in every corner of the airport. We want to show our passengers that we are waiting for them at home with all our respects and love," said Chisinau Chief Marketing Officer Nino Ciubinasvili.

The gifts will be distributed to all travelers at the airport until January 10th.
