The measures that follows to simplify the passage of entrepreneurs from patented to self-employed work were discussed today at the Government. According to the legislation in force, the patent proprietors of the retail trade are soon to undergo a new form of activity, which is to ensure the bookkeeping in a simplified way and the use of household appliances.
Prime-Minister Pavel Filip mentioned that the procedure for the transition to the independent activity needs to be further analyzed in order to eliminate all the constraints signaled by the entrepreneurs.
"Moving to self-employment gives you the same freedom and the opportunity to grow your business. Perhaps we did not offer people the best conditions for independent activity - there are still many issues related to bureaucracy and sophisticated procedures. We have to offer attractive conditions for people to work", said Pavel Filip.
During the meeting, the possibilities of providing additional facilities for self-employment were analyzed, among which the simplification of accounting, the reduction of controls, the recalculation according to the actual working time of the annual tax paid by entrepreneurs, as well as their exemption from additional fees. At the same time, it was examined the possibility of creating a software, according to the model of the one-stop shop, on the platform of which each stage of registration of the applications for independent activity will be examined. In order to ensure the social protection of self-employed entrepreneurs, the option of applying reductions in the purchase of the health insurance policy should be analyzed.
Discussions on these proposals will continue within the working group, with the participation of the authorities and representatives holding the patent. In the negotiations, common solutions are to be found to make the transition to the new form of work as advantageous as possible. Over the past two years, over 1,550 people out of 9,192 patent holders have gone to independent activity.
