Pavel Filip and representatives of Atlantic Council discussed reforms' implementation and regional safety priorities
The perspectives of the Moldo-American strategic dialogue, the process of reforms implementation in Republic of Moldova and the priorities for providing stability as a regional level were discussed last night by Pavel Filip, the Prime Minister of Moldova and Damon Wilson, the Ambassadors Alexander Vershbow and John Herbst, representatives of the Atlantic Council.
The chief of the Government shows his thanksgiving for the cooperation between our country and the Atlantic Council and appreciated the contribution of the analytic center in creating a constructive approach of the transatlantic international community.
Pavel Filip talked about the reforms that are planned to be implemented in Republic of Moldova and mentioned that in these two years of governance, they managed to return the foreign partners' trust. Also, the prime minister highlighted the importance of an opened communication with the foreign partners. This way, they will evaluate the state of things from the country, easier.
In this context, Damon Wilson, the deputy President of the Atlantic Council appreciated the Government's determination to realize the reforms, especially, the justice reform and the fight against corruption. The representatives of the center said they support the US interest to solve the regional problems and to provide stability.
"Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and current security challenges" Summit is an inspiration for creating a long lasting strategy.

Republic of Moldova and Georgia established diplomatic relations on June 25 1992. In April 2014, Presidents of Parliaments from Chisinau and Georgia held first official meeting. In June 2017, Presidents of Parliaments form Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia have requested the European Parliament to bring into force a resolution with clearly stated perspectives on those three countries to speed up the democratic transformation and progresses.
