Pavel Filip prime minister attended the reception organized yesterday by the EU delegation in Moldova on Victory Day. The prime minister came up with a congratulatory message for all who promote and support the European values: peace, liberty, democracy and the state of law.

"I am glad that we all understood that the EU is not only about politics. Many parties died by having this idea. The EU integration depends on us and we can only make it through reforms", highlighted Pavel Filip.

At the same time, the prime minister mentioned that this year, the Europe Day is very important for our country due to the three anniversaries that we have today. Five years have passed since the implementation of the Association Agreement between Moldova and the EU, five years since the implementation of the free visa regime with the EU and 10 years since the launch of the Eastern partnership.

The prime minister thanked the EU for the support that they offer to Moldova.

At his turn, Peter Michalko, delegation chief remarked the achievements that our country recorded in the past years. The official mentioned that the EU will always be an important partner for our country.
