The prime minister Pavel Filip held a meeting with George Tsereteli, the President of OSCE Parliamentary Meeting.
The transnistrean conflict, the measures that should be taken to strengthen the trust on the both banks of Nistru, the parliamentary elections were the main topics discussed by the politicians.
The prime minister thanked the Parliamentary Meeting of OSCE for their support in promoting the dialogue on the both shores of Nistru, the integration of the national minorities, the justice reform and the improvement of the state of law.
Pavel Filip also talked about the progress registered by our country in solving the transnistrean conflict.
Among the main achievements, he mentioned: the development of the schools on the left bank of Nistru, especially the Romanian ones, the apostille of the Tiraspol diplomas, the access of the Dubasari farmers to their lands and the involvement of the cars with neuter matriculation plate in the international traffic.
"We can only have achievements if we are supported. We will make everything possible to improve this field", said Pavel Filip.
The prime minister appreciated the contribution of the foreign partners in solving the transnistrean conflict, mentioning how important are the "5+2" meetings. At the same time, the chairman of the Government requested OSCE to be more active in withdrawing the ammunition placed in Cobasna, as this present a danger for this territory.
At his turn, Georghe Tsereteli, the OSCE President of the Parliamentary Meeting confirmed the availability of the inter-parliamentary quorum to support the Republic of Moldova in solving this conflict.
The officials exchanged their opinions regarding the future elections. George Tsereteli appreciated the responsibility taken by the authorities to evolve free, fair and transparent elections. OSCE will have its experts who will monitor the elections on February 24.
