During today's Government meeting, prime minister Pavel Filip relaunched his request towards all responsible institutions to show maximum professionalism and to ensure the right carry-out of the presidential election on 30 October 2016.
"We wanted these presidential elections and I consider that they are strengthening the democracy, through the bigger responsibility of the citizens' decision towards the state. This exercise is from one side very important, from the other side it is a great responsibility, and both I and all present today are interested for these elections to be carried out in a transparent and correct way" declared the prime minister.
At the same time, the prime minister mentioned that it is important for the objectives named by the Government to be named, and the authorities to make the necessary efforts in order to fulfill them.

Personally, I hope that after these elections, our difficult work to come back to the international financial market will take a bigger volume" declared the head of Government.
The prime minister requested from the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Central Election Commission and all institutions involved in the organization of the electoral campaign to not give attention to all threats of political intent, but to show professionalism, so that the elections will be correct and the observers would confirm it.
