Pavel Filip: Romania is our most important partner and support
Today, Pavel Filip, the prime minister of Moldova had a meeting with Viorica Dancila, the Romania prime minister.
In this context, Pavel Filip highlighted the Romanian support offered to our country. Also, the official thanked the Romanian country and mentioned that Romania was always supporting us in our hard times.
"Let me thank the Romanian delegation and especially Ms. Dancila who accepted to pay us a visit, even if she has a busy schedule. It is an important visit, because Romania is the most important supporting of our county. I have already informed Ms.Dancila about the reforms we included in the European reform agenda. Especially, I wanted to thank you for the Romanian efforts in our country. The relationship between Moldova and Romania are excellent. We convened we will have a common session of the Governments that will take place in Chisinau. Moldova increased its exports on the EU market and achieved a share of 65%, but the most significant changes occurred due to Romania. Romania is our most important partner in the trade and investments sphere.
I want to announce that yesterday, the commission for competitions announced that Transgaz company is the winner of the competition.
Undoubtedly, the energetic security is very important for Republic of Moldova.
The Romanian assistance can't only be qualified as a friendly support for our country, but, also, as a material support. This is why I want to thank them for their aid. Here, I refer to the hundreds of trolley buses, the repair of dozens of kindergartens and about the renovation of the Organ Hall, Art Museum and the scholarships that the Romanian government offers for the students who study in Romania. In 2016, when Moldova was in a terrible crisis, Romania offered us a loan of 150 million euros. When we were in our hardest moment, Romania helped us. I am sure that the future of our country will be better", said Pavel Filip, the prime minister of Moldova.

Prime Minister of Romania will also meet today with President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu.
Viorica Dăncilă became Prime Minister of Romania at the end of last month, after former Prime Minister, Mihai Tudose, resigned.
