Teachers that are working in primary schools, gymnasiums, high schools and other public education institutions, as well as kindergarten educators, received compensations of 2,000 lei annually. A statement in this regard was made by Prime Minister Pavel Filip at the Government meeting.

"Another topic I have talked about, again talking about education, is about the 2,000 lei I paid to teachers at the beginning of the year for office supplies, in addition to the salary they receive. 

It is true that the regulation provided several bureaucracy issues with the presentation of the check, reports to the head of the institution, but we have decided to abolish these bureaucratic requirements. And all the more so are the granting of these benefits to the managerial staff, who perform their didactic activity at their place of work", said Prime Minister Pavel Filip. 

In this sense, a Government decision will be approved today.
