Pavel Filip to Volconovici: Nobody can force pupils leave the campus. I will check if this is legally
Nobody will touch the lands of the Agricultural University's campus. This message was sent by Pavel Filip to Liviu Volconovici, after the Government found out that the administration of the university asked the students to leave the university, as they made an agreement with a building company.
Pavel Filip asked Volconovici not to do this anymore. Moreover, they announced that the Government won't accept such an agreement.
Pavel Filip announced that they will request the Control Body to verify if this decision taken by the Minister of Agriculture is legal.
"I was announced that a couple of students were obliged to leave the campus, because the university signed a contract with a building company. Even if some of them repaired the rooms they were supposed to live in, they were obliged to leave the campus anyway.
I will verify this situation and if this decision is legal.
Please, don't make such decisions on your own. You can save some money from the irrigation system that we talked about, but not on campuses. I decided to talk in public about it, because this is not your first attempt of this way. I understand that the campus has a very good location, between Puskin and Grigore Vieru streets.
Nobody will touch this land. Leave the students there", said Pavel Filip prime minister.
