Pavel Filip: We aim a coalition to yield results for citizens regardless of political interests
The best possible coalition is to resolve people's problems, scandal-free, without egos and concealed agendas. PM Pavel Filip made this declaration within an interview with Tribuna.
"From point of view of Democratic Party (PDM), a coalition is created based on people's needs, not from parties' positions or state functions. The parties need to declare clearly what they want to enforce for citizens. Then we analyze all proposals, programs and overview common ideas and difference. After that we work to harmonize them", mentioned PM Pavel Filip.
President of PDM parliamentary faction also highlighted that his party wanted a coalition to resolve social issues and function properly.
"It's important to seek for common ideas and to freeze the ideas which could trigger divergence. That's the way we want to create a new coalition, which will fulfill our commitments to citizens. We want to create a coalition to yield the best results for citizens regardless of political preference. This coalition will implement our electoral proposals, including social measures we synthesized in Social Project Package for Moldova", said Pavel Filip.
PM Filip also declared that delay and refusal to negotiate a coalition will guard against country's development.
"We need to take into account citizens' interests and their issues to proceed the negotiation. The first condition to form a governing coalition is to discuss. People who refuse political dialogue are hostile to Moldovan citizens", mentioned Pavel Filip.
