Today, Pavel Filip attended the event aimed to celebrate National Ukraine Day in Chisinau. He congratulated the neighboring country and thanked them for they support.

"We gained our independence almost at the same time. We should be in a good relationship. Today, I can certainly say that Moldova and Ukraine have an excellent relationship", mentioned Pavel Filip.

The prime minister refereed to the projects between the countries, in infrastructure, energy and environment protection fields. He also highlithed the cooperation in security field. He also thanked Ukraine for the support they offer us to solve the transnistrean conflict.

"We are worried about the situation in the East of Ukraine, the security issues they face. We face the same issues and this is why we should be united. I think that our relationship should be based on mutual respect", said the prime minister.
