PDM collects over 350,000 signatures for uninominal voting

Over 350,000 signatures of citizens have been collected the last ten days to support the uninominal voting.
At a news conference, Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu has added: "The PDM has started garnering signatures to better understand what the citizens want. Up to now, over 350,000 signatures have been collected and the process will go on. The enormous figure legitimize this bill and the PDM’s determination to promote the draft, the expertise so that we find the due arguments to convince the colleagues top vote."
According to latest polls, 70 % of Moldovans want a uninominal voting system, as the ratio is even larger within the Diaspora.
