PDM will launch an ample national cleaning campaign tomorrow. The party urges all citizens who want to live in a beautiful city to join the initiative. 

According to the PDM, similar events are popular internationally. 

Statistics say that about three million cubic meters of waste are produced annually in our country. Of these, only 15 percent are reused, 25 percent destroyed, and 60 percent remain in landfills.

Additionally, only a percent of these correspond to the environmental legislation standards.

Statistics also show that only 60 percent of Moldovan cities and six per cent of villages are clean.
