PDM National Meeting: Our party proposed a new program for the future
The Democratic party proposed the pro-Moldova way. A way that nobody had the courage to propose before.
This declaration was made by Vlad Plahotniuc, the chairman of PDM, within the PDM National Meeting, that took place today in the Capital.
According to the organizers, 100 thousand people attended it.
"Today, we came here to start a new way, a way that nobody had the courage to start before. It is about the pro-Moldova way, that targets to solve the deepest problems that the Moldovans face. In the last 27 years, there were three directions: the pro-European one, pro-Eurasian one and the one of union with Romania. The Moldovans are ready to build the future with their own hands. This is why the politicians have to work more", said Vlad Plahotniuc, the chairman of PDM.
"We can make great things. We can achieve great success, even if we had to go through hard impediments. What we learned before is that together we can achieve performances. We know that we can do the European integration. The life expectancy of the Moldovans increased. We worked hard day by day", said Andrian Candu, the vice President of PDM.
"Our country has proven that we can develop our country. It has proven that we have been through hard times. Today, the economy of the country grew up. The pensions and the salaries increased. The schools no longer close. The roads are getting better, many localities benefited of sewerage and aqueducts. These things were possible, due to the PDM programs", said Pavel Filip, the prime-vice president of PDM.
The democrats showed their regret that some of the politicians put their own interests ahead.
"We urge people to work hard! We urge people to build! We urge our citizens to build an European Moldova! I am convinced that all the citizens of this country want a more democratic, more civilized and prosper country", said Dumitru Diacov, PDM president.
At the end, the PDM National Meeting announced the program for the next period and assumed the responsibility to provide the welfare of the country, as well as to continue the reforms that they started.
"I hope we will be more optimistic, hard working. In the end we will succeed. Congratulations for voting this responsibilities and the program for the next period. Congratulations to all 100 thousand citizens that came in the National Assembly Square today", said Eugeniu Nichiforciuc, PDM deputy.
