PDM notified foreign partners about abuses, intimidation and harassment against the PDM
The Democratic Party of Moldova has notified foreign partners about the abuses, intimidation and harassment against the PDM, its members and candidates by the government in the campaign for general local elections.
"It's mentioned in the message that the PDM won nearly 200 mayors in the first round without administrative and financial resources. This shows the PDM has good people, mayors who made investments and concrete achievements in their localities. This means the people truly trust the PDM and its candidates.
This result could be even better if the current government had not forced the PDM mayors to move to bloc ACUM or PSRM or to run independently, through blackmail and pressure.
The foreign partners were also called to closely monitor developments in the Republic of Moldova, as well as to suggest to the government not to go beyond the legal framework and to respect the fundamental rights of the opposition, "quoted the PDM statement.
