Democrat women from Chisinau chose their leader. Monica Babuc will remain at the helm of PDM Women's Organization from Chisinau for another four years.

For the given trust, the organization's president promised to continue working even harder than before.

"The Women's Organization from Chişinău always tried to keep up with the Party's achievements, especially with the achievements of Filip's Government, as we now feel 100 times more responsible" Monica Babuc explained.

Out of the 5 200 PDM members from the Capital, 3 000 are women.

"We combined our efforts and saw changes. When a woman finally stepped from the shadows of a male leader and became strong. We must promote equality in politics, so that everyone has a fair chance" president of PDM Women's Organization, Valentina Buliga said.

In an official atmosphere, but lax at the same time, new members were welcomed.

Democratic Party leaders claim that they will continue doing everything possible to to give women more rights and empowerments.

The event ended with a concert held by group Accord and Brio Sonoris.
