People fro Maia Sandu's native village don't know who is she: I have never seen her. She didn't do anything for our village
Maia Sandu's reform to optimize the education institutions was also implemented in her native village. The lyceum from Risipeni village is now a gymnasium. Since then, the lyceum students go to a lyceum from Falesti day by day, a 40 kilometers way. Now, 180 pupils study at the school from the village, while in 2012, it had 220.
Seven teachers left this school, because of the low number of hours that they had and a low salary.
Eugenia Carp is a teacher of Romanian language and literature for already 23 years. She says that the institution's halls are empty now.
"It would be great if we had a lyceum here, because it would have been easier for us and for the parents", said Eugenia Carp.
The villagers think that Maia Sandu runs on Diaspora constituency, because she hasn't done anything for her village.
"-I have never seen her. -Did she ever visit you village or discuss with the residents about the problems that you face with? -No, we haven't discuss with her and we haven't even seen her. I only heard about Mr.Plahotniuc.."
"-When did you last see her? -I don't remember. -Did the villagers discuss with her? -I have never talked with her."
"-I think that Mr.Plahotniuc will do a lot for our country. -What about Maia Sandu, when did you last see her? -I don't know her."
Maia Sandu runs on No.50 constituency, Western Europe.
