People from Stefan Voda district trust Vlad Plahotniuc and the DPM team
The first dialogue the DPM team had in the district was with the medical staff and the social workers.
At the meeting, DPM President Vlad Plahotniuc said that the greatest gratitude and motivation the Democrats receive from the citizens in this campaign is the recognition that the country is a bit better than before DPM came to the Government. "Of course there's still a lot to be done to get where we should be. Agree. We are the first to say this. But, unlike other parties, we have started and we know exactly what we have to do and how to do. We are not afraid of work, we are not afraid of responsibility and do not make promises without being convinced that we can fulfill them", said the DPM President.
At the meeting of the Democrats team with the education employees, the educators mentioned that the measures taken in recent years - including wage increases, the payment of one-off allowance for young teachers, and the relief of teachers over the burden of endless reports - ended the mass departure of school teachers. Teachers' salaries have increased by 45% since December 1, 2018, so a country's first teacher is currently worth over 6,000 lei. The allowance for the new pedagogues coming from the villages schools increased from 45,000 lei to 120,000 lei.
Vlad Plahotniuc announced that the state will continue to make improvements in the field of education, including measures to support teachers.
In addition to education, the Democratic Party team also plans to strengthen state security, which is why DPM leader also consulted his ideas with Border Police officers and other force institutions, including employees from the control institutions, or infrastructure.
Asked how DPM sees things on strengthening border security, Vlad Plahotniuc said he "regards the Republic of Moldova as a sovereign and independent state." "I believe that modern technologies, sufficient money, skilled border guards, prepared, with good salaries means safe borders", said the DPM chairman.
The DPM caravan also visited a clothing factory employing about 60 people, as well as an important winery, with international reputation, both operating in the private sector. Vlad Plahotniuc told private sector employees that the DPM Government has taken and will take measures to support the business environment with the main goal that wages may continue to grow in the Republic of Moldova.
"We will come up with new proposals to ensure conditions for the private sector business people you work in, so that entrepreneurs can expand, gain more profits and increase employee wages", said Vlad Plahotniuc. In turn, people were pleased to work here in Moldova in good conditions and said they trust the DPM team and its ability to further develop the country's economy.
