People will pay less for electricity starting today

Starting today, prices for electricity have change.
Therefore, nearly one million 300 thousand people will pay by 10% less their electricity bills.
The decision was published on Friday in the Official Monitor. Starting today, Gas Natural Fenosa clients will pay 1 leu and 79 bani per kilowatt-hour, by 20 bani less.
People living in the North will also have smaller electricity bills.
At the request of FEE-NORD, the cost of a kilowatt-hour decreased from 2 lei and 12 bani to 1 leu and 91 bani.
The main reasons behind the decreased prices stood the strengthening of the national currency rate and a new calculation method. This decrease allowed water and sewage bills to remain the same in Chisinau.
