The hot weather is not persuasive of the street vendors who sell their goods right on sidewalks around the central bazaar of Chisinau. Dairy, meat and eggs are sold out, as the air temperature meanwhile tops 30 degrees Celsius.

Though doctors recommend not buying such products on hot days, buyers pay not much attention.

However, the bazaar management says the perishables sold in authorized places are checked by food safety agency specialists on a daily basis.

Although being fined, the street vendors go on selling their perishable foodstuffs on sidewalks. The city hall braces to unfurl an array of controls into bazaars, leisure camps and water quality.
