The Liberal Party calls for the socialists to be excluded from the electoral campaign on the grounds that it would promote hatred in society and jeopardize freedom of conscience. Liberals have filed a complaint with the Central Electoral Commission.
They say that the PSRM still distributed more electoral materials on January 23, which was banned because it had not yet begun the campaign.
According to the PL, one of the items in the materials concerned the banning of the parties opting for the union of the Republic of Moldova with Romania and the prohibition in the school program of the history of the Romanians. Thus, the Liberal Party asks the CEC to cancel the decision by which the PSRM was registered in the electoral campaign.
In reply, PSRM representatives state that their electoral materials are based on the provisions of the Constitution.
