Families with incomes of less than 2,000 lei will benefit from higher aid for the cold period of the year worth 350 lei. The announcement was made by the DPM leader, Vlad Plahotniuc, during the DPM weekly briefing . 

The Heat Compensation increases from 315 lei to 350 lei and will be raised from December to November.

"Another social issue, discussed today with colleagues, is aid for the cold season, more specifically, we are talking about compensation which is given for paying heat compensations, we decided to increase by about 12%. 

So far , these compensations were granted to families who had come up to 1,600 lei, and this year they will receive all the families with an income less than 2,000 lei per month.

Thus, all families with incomes up to 2,000 lei will receive monthly compensation of 350 lei per month for five months to November, December, January, February and March", DPM President, Vlad Plahotniuc.
