PLDM made it clear: They won't align with PAS and PPDA for parliamentary elections
The coalition leaded by Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase didn't manage to convince the political council of PLDM to chose common candidates for the parliamentary elections. After four hours of discussions, the leadership of PLDM said they won't have any allies at this elections.
The session had the doors opened and took place in a luxury hotel from the center of the Capital. The leaders of PAS and PPDA also attended the meeting.
"We invited them to chose some commons candidates for the parliamentary elections", said PAS leader, Maia Sandu.
"We discussed the offer, we even brought arguments", said Andrei Nastase, PPDA leader.
It seems like the arguments of Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase haven't been enough to convince PLDM to take a final decision.
"After the secret vote, it has been decided that PLDM will not have any allies during the parliamentary elections", said Tudor Deliu, PLDM President.
Previously, Sandu and Nastase proposed the liberals to be on a common list.
