Police arrested a group of 21 young people wearing masks and backpacks. According to law enforcement, the young men were heading to the Great National Assembly Square. In the backpacks, officers found medical masks, antigaz, knuckle dusters, knives and bats.

"A group of 21 men, dressed in tracksuits, wearing masks, backpacks and covered hands were heading to the crowd. Police managed to arrest and isolate them. In their backpacks were found bats and other forbidden items" IGP deputy chief, Gheorghe Cavcaliuc said.

The group attempted to enter the crows, but were arrested by officers. They were escorted to the Buiucani Police Inspectorate for identification and questionings.
