The people of the law urge the pastors to be more careful in order to prevent the thefts. Usually, the robbers steal icons, crosses and other expensive things. Thus, the policemen recommend the churches to install surveillance cameras and window bars. 

In the last five years, Adormirea Macii Domnului church from Raculesti village, Criuleni district suffered twice from thefts. The robbers were entering by using the windows.

In Mascauti village, the robbers use the same method to enter the church.

"They entered the church and made a disaster here, especially in the altar. But, they only stole a cross", mentioned Andrei Micu, pastor.

According to the police, the previous year, 26 church robberies have been made.
