Policemen and soldiers will receive service apartments in the next two years
Over than a thousand apartments will be offered to the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the following two years. Some of those will be given in September and the others later, announced Alexandru Jizdan within the Government session.
"The ministry of Internal Affairs initiated public-private partnerships. It is about Gheorghe Asachi, Grenoble and Testimiteanu streets. Totally, 300 apartments will be given till September", said Alexandru Jizdan, the minister of Internal Affairs.
The Ministry of Defense builds houses for the soldiers. 112 apartments in Chisinau, 15 in Balti and 18 in Cahul.
"We will build 335 apartments in Chisinau and 25 in Balti. Also, the next week we will start a new public-private partnership in Chisinau", said Eugen Sturza, the ministry of Defense.
"We had many initiatives to provide the soldiers and others with a house", said Pavel Filip.
The policemen of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who don't own their house will receive allowances to pay the rent.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, over 15 000 policemen will benefit of allowances.
The costs will be covered by the state budget.
