National Anti-corruption center revealed 881 crimes last year, this is 3% more than in 2016.

The policemen are in the top of the anti-corruption workers who detained the criminals. The policemen are involved in 45 bribery files. Other 43 directors and 34 customs employees are also suspected in this case.

At the opposite end were the prosecution officers, prosecutors, ministers and deputy ministers.

In total, in 2017, CNA handled 1 939 criminal cases, in which the investigators established that 47 million lei had been brought to the state.

610 of these were completed and 318 were to be examined by magistrates.

In 90 percent of cases, the courts have established guilty defendants.
