Political analysts of our country appreciate Commission's investigation into Open Dialog Foundation
The Moldovan Government managed to prove a case of espionage and interference in the internal affairs of the country as it has not done so far. There are several political analysts who have commented on Parliament's report on the connection of the Open Dialog Foundation with certain structures in Moldova.
"I think it is a very important document and investigation, and I think this must play a significant role in the political life of the country. These politicians must admit that mistakes have been made and returned that money to the state budget. that the bill must be returned to the budget. They have a chance to start with them", said Vitalie Andrievschi, a political analyst.
Experts also told Publika TV that the report is evidence of an interference with Russia's secret services to promote occult interests in several countries, including the Baltic countries, Poland, Ukraine, Romania and the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, political analysts believe that this incident is further proof of the need for legal instruments in the fight against espionage. "It is a commendable fact that our deputies have had the courage to train in this very complicated investigation that is going to complete other investigations that are now taking place across the borders of the Republic of Moldova in Poland, for example", said Petru Bogstu, political analyst.
"I liked the Commission's decision, the appeals that have been made and especially those related to the legislative issue. Regretfully, today the law enforcement authorities do not have too much legislative instruments to document and combat this hybrid war", said Alexandru Popescu, political analyst.
Vitalie Catana believes that PAS and PPDA leaders, Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase, mentioned in the report, have nothing to look for on the political arena in Moldova and will be charged with voters.
"It is an important event because it targets very serious facts, in fact, and I especially want this case to be finalized. Even if we have no convictions, at least these politicians will disappear, be eliminated from our policy, surely on the way citizens' vote", said Vitalie Catana, political analyst.
Yesterday, a Parliament inquiry committee presented a report stating that the "Open Dialogue" Foundation was largely funded by secret services in Moscow, Moldovan bank fraud, and money-laundering scammed by banks previously controlled by Veaceslav Platon.
The authors of the report also spoke about the Polish NGO's contact with Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase, who benefited from at least flight tickets paid by this foundation, a fact recognized by the two. The parliamentary commission yesterday called on the Prosecutor General's Office to investigate the "Open Dialogue" intervention in the domestic affairs of the country, but also in terms of possible treat by the politicians who had a connection with the foundation.
