A pregnant woman was saved by the doctors of the Republican Hospital.

"I was in the 12th week of pregnancy. The doctors were afraid as the baby was at an early age", said Ana Chirita, patient.

Ana Chirita is 26 year old. She is from Ocnita district. She had a sinus pathology that developed because of the untreated teeth. In the 32th week of pregnancy, the woman was transported to the Republican hospital. To save her and her child, the doctors made caesarean surgery to the woman. Then, the woman faced an endoscopic intervention.

"The patient was in a grave condition. We took all the measures to prevent any tragedy", said Alexandru Botezatu, the chief of the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care.

The surgery was a success.

"I knew that everything will be fine. I knew that everything will be fine", said Ana Chirita, patient.

The specialists say that the baby is in danger and the patient risks to die.

"If she was investigated as it is required when the time is right, then we wouldn't reach this moment", said Eusebiu Sencu, surgeon.

The doctors recommend the future mothers to treat all their illnesses before getting pregnant.
