A pregnant woman was hit by a train at the railway station from Făleşti. She was located on a platform between the trains and has not noticed the vehicle coming from the opposite side. The 39-year-old victim was born in Izvoare village, Făleşti district and was hospitalized in critical state.

"She is becoming stable now, bit by bit is recovering. She was hit at the ribs, we believed two were even fractured. We performed an X-ray and did not notice any fractures, but she has a concussion" neurologists from Făleşti Regional Hospital, Dumitru Spînu declared.

The woman arrived to the hospital with multiple injuries and was immediately attended to by a doctor, who declared that both she and the child are safe. The future mother will remain in the hospital until she will not fully recover.

According to the police, the woman went to the railway to send a package, other details will following be established.
