Premier Pavel Filip: Publishing EU report is key positive moment for Moldova
At today’s Cabinet’s sitting, the Prime Minister has commented on the report compiled by the European Commission on the eve of the sitting of the Moldova-EU Association Council, scheduled for March 31, 2017.
Pavel Filip underscores the report confirms Moldova’s implementing a host of reforms aimed at fighting corruption, improving the public administration, insuring the macroeconomic balance, and harmonizing the energy-related legislation to the EU acquis.
The Prime Minister emphasizes the report stresses Moldova’s presence on the EU’s agenda and mirrors the EU’s opening to back the reforms in this country.
"Publishing the report is a key positive moment for Moldova. What we must highlight in this evaluation is not just the criticism, but also the conclusions mentioning the year 2016 was a year of new beginnings, enormous legislative work being done," Pavel Filip said.
