Premiere in Moldova. Vlad Plahotniuc's Foundation opens first playground for disabled kids
The first entertainment park for disabled children has been opened in Chisinau today. It is part of the Edelweiss Parks project, launched by Vlad Plahotniuc’s Edelweiss Foundation.
One could read happiness in the fascinating eyes of the children looking at the new playground. Sabina is nine and has suffered from illnesses since born. She has not felt comfortable when she got out for walks in the parks. Now she’s glad she has a place to share with her friends.
O mother came with her little girl aged four. The child is mentally retarded and hopes to make new friends on the playground.
The parents and children are grateful to Vlad Plahotniuc’s Edelweiss Foundation for such a present.
"Vlad Plahotniuc’s Edelweiss Foundation has inaugurated the first and only playground for disabled kids. We’re very proud we’ve managed to have results. It’s not only for the disabled, it has toboggans for healthy children. So, we invite everybody here," said executive of Vlad Plahotniuc’s Edelweiss Foundation Lara Moraru.
The Edelweiss Parks project was launched by Vlad Plahotniuc’s Edelweiss Foundation and provides for opening 40 playgrounds in Moldovan towns.
