Four volunteer firefighters will watch over the safety of over ten thousand people in seven locations across the country. The rescuers will activate at the station in the village of Gribova, Drochia district, reopened with the support of the district authorities.
"You can sleep more peacefully." "Who has your own sleep?" "I can see that the field may light up, and a forest can be lit", said the gentleman. Firefighters say they are prepared both physically and morally to intervene in any risk situation: "We chose this profession to help the world save".
"Others say it's easy, it's hard for us, you have to be in the fire and not just."
In order to effectively intervene in the liquidation of fires, volunteer firefighters were instructed by the rescuers in Balti. "This post was opened to react as quickly and promptly as possible in order to reduce the intervention time of about 20 minutes," said Leonid Munteanu, head of the Firefighter Rescue Unit, Drochia.
The Mayor of Gribova village said that 30,000 lei were allocated to reopen the fire station from the local budget and the Drochia District Council contributed 70,000 lei.
"The Fire Brigade was welcomed and a considerable contribution was made to the location of the fires until the arrival of the special units in the city of Drochia," said Mayor of Gribova village.
"This project was realized due to the fact and involvement of the central, regional and local authorities. It was the desire to reopen this important point in the given locality," concluded PDM deputy Corneliu Padnevici.
By 2020 more than 100 local fire stations are to be opened. At present, there are 40 rescue stations in the country.
